Description

“Sweet dreams” is a set of projective cards dedicated to femininity, human psychological resource, and dreams. Warm and relaxed images retrieve the state of peace and happiness that is peculiar to the first perinatal matrix according to S. Grof. According to Grof`s theory, each of us was in “paradise” once experiencing joy, easiness, feeling of safety and tranquility. We seek to return to this “paradise” even if visionally and in dreams. Practices:

1.Exploring femininity

Choose a card that represents femininity in your opinion. Consider it. Describe the image in detail. Answer the questions speaking out aloud: Who is this woman? What does she want? What is she thinking about? How does she feel? What character traits does she have and what does she look like? What traits among those do you have? What does attract you in her? What are your associations judging upon colors and shades on this card? Reveal the symbolism of small details after considering them.

If you choose a card featuring an image of some objects like fruit, ask the same question, just imagine that you consider a vase of flowers like an image of a woman.

  1. Women’s games

Draw one image from open cards for each of the following words: femininity, mistress, motherhood, intuition, empress, game, youth, maturity, experience, and care. Provide an explanation of the basis of your choice. Comment on such traits that you have and how they are expressed. Formulate in a sentence the message of each card aimed at you that exemplifies the utmost unveiling of the trait symbolized by this card. How could you use this message in your life?

  1. Old dreams

Choose one or more images from the cards that remind you of some of your significant dreams. Interpret the meaning of your dream basing upon the following issues:

– If a woman is depicted in the picture, then:

– What kind of your need does she express?

– What your trait does she represent?

– What kind of emotion is expressed by her?

– What does she do?

– What is she aiming to be? Why?

– What field of your life is involved in similar processes?

– If some objects are depicted in the picture, then:

– Do you use such objects in your real life?

– What state of mind may be associated to these objects?

– Why are they intended for?

– How could you use them?

– What could they become?

  1. Dream realization

Draw 5 cards randomly. Write down a story basing upon these cards. Your story must have a plot, scene, and resolution. Read your story aloud and ask yourself what your story is really about? What explicit or underlying desire is described in this story? How do I estimate the chances of its realization? What should be done in order to implement it? What happens if it becomes real? How could this realization be dangerous for me?

  1. Dreams about the future

Draw a card randomly. Imagine that this image has come in your dream and told you about happiness and joy that await you in the future. Fantasize and feel the atmosphere of this card.

  1. Dilemma

If you want to work through a problem of a choice from two or more options, deliberately choose some card provided that the images depicted on them represent one or another option. Imagine personality traits and names for each character.

In turns, tell about heroine`s point of view concerning the problem of choice on her behalf. When telling the story on behalf of characters of each card and acting like the “voice” of these images, touch the card with your fingertips or “stay” on the card pressing your two fingers to it.

Find out what feelings do you have when act like heroines in either option. What image do you utmost identify yourself with? Lay additional card as compromise option.

  1. Lady Perfection

Consider open cards. Find the one that depicts the heroine having the trait you would like to have, though you don`t have it so far. Take this card in your hand and feel the effect of contact with this trait. Apply the card to your body part that responded and where some sensation is felt. Feel your emotions deeply and keep the card pressed as long as it is necessary to feel comfortable. If you have uncomfortable feeling after such “association” of a trait, then think whether you should acquire it and could it be beneficial to you.

  1. Three parts of self

Imagine that you three personifications of your personality are going to speak to you: mind, body and emotions. Each of them is going to tell you something really important. Choose three cards randomly and arrange them in front like a triangle. Decide in advance about the corners that represent these personifications. Turn the cards alternately, read messages provided by each image, and decide what could improve your health and quality of life. Lay the fourth card in the center – it will show the most important things provided by all messages and how they may be finally combined.
